KUCHING: A total of 150 recipients received state honours from Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar during an investiture ceremony at Astana Sarawak here today (July 28).
The investiture ceremony began with the conferment of the Darjah Utama Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Kenyalang Sarawak Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang (P.B.K.) on 14 recipients, including Bujang Rhaman Seli, Ezra Uda, Muhammad Dino Amid, Peleadzman Ahip, Tamida Da’adi, Dampa Long, Meehan Jorai, Petrick Linggie Taboh, Hamidah Halpi, Anne Anthony Lajinga, Caroline Chen Tze Yian, Dayang Morzanah Awang Haddy, Dorris Synia and Rabiah Zaidan.
This was followed by the conferment of the Pingat Pentadbiran Awam Pingat Perkhidmatan Bakti (P.P.B.) on 20 recipients, including Angelico Francis Freddy Tiam, Awang Nazri Awang Saperi and Boggie Juntan, among others. Another 11 individuals received the Darjah Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Sarawak Ahli Bintang Sarawak (A.B.S.).
The ceremony continued with 21 recipients receiving the Darjah Utama Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Kenyalang Sarawak Ahli Bintang Kenyalang (A.B.K.), while the Pingat Pentadbiran Awam Pingat Perkhidmatan Terpuji (P.P.T.) was conferred on 43 individuals.
In addition, 41 recipients were awarded the Darjah Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Sarawak Bentara Bintang Sarawak (B.B.S.).
Accompanying Wan Junaidi at the ceremony was his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
Also present were Deputy Minister of Transport (Aviation and Road), Datuk Dr Jerip Susil; Deputy Minister of International Trade, Industry and Investment, Datuk Dr Malcolm Mussen Lamoh; and Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman), Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya, among other guests.
