KUCHING: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Amar Fadillah Yusof will undergo heart bypass surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in the coming days on the recommendation of his medical team.
His office, in a statement today, said Fadillah is in stable condition but has been advised to take complete rest and avoid receiving visitors to allow his treatment and recovery to progress well.
The statement said his family has appealed to the public to pray for a successful surgery, a smooth recovery and his return to official duties.
They also conveyed their appreciation to everyone for their prayers, support and well wishes.
