PUTRAJAYA: The government has agreed to restore the basic monthly quota under the Budi MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) programme to 300 litres.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the decision would benefit more than 16 million users of subsidised RON95.
“Meanwhile, more than half a million eligible owners of diesel-powered pick-up trucks and jeeps will receive up to 400 litres of Budi Diesel a month,” he said when delivering his National Day address at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) here today.
On March 26, the government announced that BUDI95 quota would be adjusted from 300 litres a month to 200 litres a month from April 1, 2026, following the conflict in West Asia, while the price of subsidised RON95 remained at RM1.99 per litre. – BERNAMA
