SELANGOR: With just two days remaining before the actual competition begins, Sarawak Para Badminton’s head coach, Suhaili Laiman is making full use of the time.
He is focused on improving his players’ fitness levels ahead of the competition.
The effort is crucial to ensure the players are adequately prepared to face the intensity of the biennial national Games.
“There are still two days before the actual badminton competition begins.
“Therefore, I am making full use of the remaining time to improve the fitness levels of all the players,” said Suhaili to Sarawak Tribune during a training session held earlier today.
According to Suhaili, although the players underwent only a light training session earlier, it was important as they are only allowed to familiarise themselves with the competition court on Friday (Sept 4).

The badminton competition will take place from September 6 to 10 at the Shah Alam Youth and Sports Complex (KOMBES).
Sarawak’s Para Badminton squad comprises 14 players and is targeting at least two gold medals.
