KUCHING: Ayam Brand has expanded its Ayam Carik range to five variants with the addition of three new flavours.
The company introduced Teriyaki Sauce, Spicy Korean Gochujang Sauce and Black Pepper to the pulled chicken range, with the new variants launched at Jaya Grocer, Sunway Pyramid, on Sept 3.
The Black Pepper variant uses pepper sourced from Sarawak, while the other two feature teriyaki and Korean gochujang sauces respectively.
Ayam Brand said the expanded range was developed for consumers looking for food that can be prepared quickly and used across different meals.
The Teriyaki Sauce variant is intended for use with rice, noodles, bread or as a sandwich filling, while the Spicy Korean Gochujang variant offers a hotter Korean-style option.
The Black Pepper variant, meanwhile, uses Sarawak pepper as its main flavour component.
According to the company, the pulled chicken can also be used in burgers and salads, as well as for home meals, packed lunches or quick meals.
The launch is part of a six-day roadshow at Jaya Grocer, Sunway Pyramid, from Sept 1 to 6, which includes product sampling and purchase-based promotions.
Shoppers spending RM20 or more, including one can of Ayam Brand Pulled Chicken, are eligible for a lunch bag, while those spending RM30 or more can also take part in a Stack Challenge for prizes. The rewards are subject to availability and terms and conditions.
Ayam Brand Pulled Chicken is now available at Jaya Grocer and selected outlets nationwide.
