KUCHING: The Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, received a personal invitation from an old friend to attend his daughter’s wedding this Saturday.
Raya Kechil extended the invitation during a visit with his wife, Rena Naan, to Wan Junaidi and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, at Kasuma Resort, Petra Jaya, today.
Raya’s daughter, Nur Iwani Izzati, is due to marry Rais Fadhlee Ismailee at Dewan Kampung Rambungan.
Wan Junaidi and Fauziah congratulated the couple and their families, while wishing them well as preparations for the wedding enter their final stages.
The 9:00 am meeting also saw the two couples catching up and reminiscing about their longstanding friendship.
