BINTULU: A 38-year-old man was found unconscious after a red Isuzu D-Max was involved in a road accident near MRSM Bintulu in the early hours today (Sept. 20).
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) said it received an emergency call at about 3.01 am and arrived at the scene 11 minutes later.
Seven firefighters from the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Station were deployed to the scene in a Fire and Rescue Tender.
Upon arrival, the team found the man, identified as Alexander Tawil, at the accident site.
JBPM said the man was not trapped in the vehicle and sustained no injuries. Firefighters assisted in removing him from the vehicle before handing him over to his family for further action.
The operations were brought under control at 3.20 am and officially concluded at 3.30 am after firefighters conducted a final safety assessment of the area.
Two police personnel were also at the scene.
The operations were led by PBK I Mazlan Tanin of the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Station.
