KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) says the number of its Premium Savings Certificate (SSP) depositors as of March this year stood at some 3.4 million, with total savings amounting to RM3.33 billion.
Chief executive Datuk Yunos Abd Ghani said as a bank mandated by the government to encourage Malaysians especially the younger generation to save, BSN is constantly introducing products offering profitable savings features such as the BSN SSP.
“As part of our efforts to encourage the public to save, we have introduced new draws with bigger rewards for BSN SSP depositors this year.
“This means more opportunities and bigger rewards for the public out there,” he said in a statement today.
He urged the public to seize the opportunity to win lucrative prizes offered by the BSN SSP Special Edition every month, noting that BSN SSP depositors also stand a chance to get returns of up to 2.5 per cent during the campaign period from Dec 15, 2018 to June 30, 2019. – Bernama
