KUCHING: The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) deals with all sorts of distress calls daily and the latest one was over a young monitor lizard.
A house owner at Muara Tabuan here who went to a toilet in his house at 3.40pm yesterday was shocked to find the young monitor lizard inside.
He then immediately contacted Bomba for help.
Firemen from Tabuan Jaya fire station managed to capture the monitor lizard before releasing it into a jungle nearby.
