KUCHING: A man was found dead in a drain at a construction site at Bandar Semariang Aman, here on Sunday.
The victim who wore a steel bangle with the name ‘Misno bin Rais’ engraved on it was believed to be sitting near the drain before falling into it.
A security guard found him at about 5.00pm and immediately alerted the police and called for an ambulance.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene and his remains were then taken to the Sarawak General Hospital’s mortuary.
The case is classified as sudden death pending the outcome of a post mortem.
