KUCHING: A businessman was found dead in his office at Bangunan Singh, Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce here on Wednesday.
The deceased, surnamed Lai, 47, was found unresponsive on the floor in a CCTV room by an employee at around 3.30pm.
It was understood the female staff immediately informed the building’s security personnel and contacted the hospital for assistance.
Lai was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Police were also at the scene to investigate the death.
Lai’s body was taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for a post mortem.
It was learned that the deceased owned a company offering safety box rental service.
