KUCHING: Malaysia can be great again, said Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) youth chief Robert Ayu.
“Sarawak’s eroded rights must be returned. Its rights under MA63 must be respected. If this is achieved then Sarawak will help make Malaysia great again,” Robert said in his Malaysia Day message.
Robert, who is a political secretary to the chief minister, said the current situation does not speak well of Malaysia as a federation of equal partners.

“As equal partner under MA63, Sarawak deserves its fair share, which today is hurting the federation because Sarawak is unfairly treated.
“Let there be less politicking and get down to work. Politicking seems never ending since the 14th general election (GE14). Almost everything is politicised. Malaysians are so divided because of politics.”
He said there is need for more youth engagement, more so because 18-year-olds will soon be voting.
