KUCHING: An electrical shop, Siong Cheshire Ng Trading was burned yesterday evening at about 6pm and had caused a massive traffic jam in Kota Sentosa.
A passer-by called the Fire and Rescue Department immediately after noticing the shop that was situated at the old Sentosa town was burning from the inside.
Batu Lintang and Tabuan Jaya firemen were deployed to fight the flames engulfing the 3-storey shop building.
The fire has caught the attention of curious onlookers which has caused road congestion in the area.
