KUCHING: The Christmas season serves as a reminder of the importance of compassion, unity and mutual respect in Sarawak’s multi-religious community.
Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap said that as Sarawakians celebrate Christmas, he would like to extend his heartfelt greetings to all Christians in Kota Sentosa and across Sarawak.
“Christmas is a season of love, hope, compassion and togetherness — values that resonate deeply with our multicultural and multi-religious society.
“It is a time to reflect on kindness, to strengthen family bonds and to care for one another, especially those in need.
“In the spirit of unity, may this festive season continue to remind us that our diversity is our strength, and that mutual respect and understanding are the foundations of a harmonious Sarawak,” he said in a statement posted on his Facebook.
He added that in the spirit of unity, the season serves as a reminder that diversity is Sarawak’s strength and that mutual respect and understanding remain the foundations of a harmonious state.
“May your homes be filled with joy, peace and blessings and may the coming year bring good health, happiness and renewed hope for all.
“Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,” he added.
