PUTRAJAYA: Leaders from Malaysia and Japan are convening to discuss various issues related to Malaysia-Japan relations at the Perdana Putra Complex today.
Among those present was Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who participated in the bilateral meeting between the two countries.
The meeting, which included Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, along with other leaders from both nations, covered topics such as trade and investment, human resource development, and energy cooperation.
Shigeru Ishiba, who arrived in Malaysia yesterday for a two-day official visit, is making his first visit to the country since assuming office in October last year.
Meanwhile, also in the Sarawak delegation was Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.
