KOTA KINABALU: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is attending the Malaysia Agreement 1963 Implementation Action Council (MTPMA63) meeting here today.
The meeting, currently underway at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), is being chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor is also attending the meeting alongside senior representatives from the Federal, Sarawak and Sabah governments.
Accompanying Abang Johari are Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, as well as other senior Sarawak government officials.
The meeting is expected to discuss matters relating to the implementation of MA63 and the rights and interests of Sarawak and Sabah.
