KUALA LUMPUR: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg was conferred the prestigious Sustainability Visionary Award here tonight in recognition of his exceptional leadership and innovation in advancing sustainable development.
The award was presented during the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB) Members Celebration Night 2026 held at the InterContinental Hotel.
The Sustainability Visionary Award is a prestigious recognition created to honour individuals who have demonstrated inspirational leadership in advancing sustainability practices and solutions.
Abang Johari also delivered a special keynote address at the annual event, which recognises enterprises and individuals driving credible, impact-driven sustainability initiatives in Malaysia.
