BAU: Efforts are underway to address concerns regarding the narrow road connecting Kampung Suba Buan and Kampung Suba Bau following complaints from parents of students at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Suba Buan.
The road’s narrowness has caused significant congestion, especially during school drop-off and pick-up times.
Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Henry Harry Jinep had acknowledged these complaints and committed to allocating funds through the Greater Kuching Development Coordination Agency (GKCDA) for road upgrades this year.
In the meantime, the Tasik Biru assemblyman assured that interim measures, such as widening the road’s shoulders, are being taken to mitigate the issue until the commencement of the project.
