The boys are at the top of the 60m water tank in Taman Tunku, Miri.

MIRI: The dangerous action of five boys climbing a 60m water storage tank in Taman Tunku, Jalan Kuching Timur here yesterday afternoon got them arrested by the police.

In the incident around 3.30pm, the five boys, all aged 12 years, had their acts video recorded by nearby residents.

The video was immediately circulated on Whatsapp and the social media.

Several members of Taman Tunku Residents’ Committee then rushed to the site and the five involved boys were still on the top of the water storage tank.

The five boys were ordered to come down before being taken to the Miri Central Police Station for further action.

All the children were released after the police gave them a good lecture on their risky action.
