KUCHING: AFFIN Group today launched the Borneo Credit Card, the first credit card in Malaysia tailored specifically for the communities of Sarawak and Sabah.
Cardholders will enjoy 0.5 per cent unlimited cashback, a low 8 per cent finance charge/profit rate, and no annual fee for life with the AFFIN Borneo Credit Card.

The card was introduced in the presence of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg in conjunction with the launch of AFFIN’s Sarawak Regional Office and Hikmah Exchange Branch.
AFFIN will debut the card at the Borneo Credit Card Roadshow at Vivacity Megamall, from Sept 5 to 7.
Among the highlights of the roadshow include family activities and entertainment, interactive showcases of the card’s features and benefits, exclusive giveaways and high-value merchandise and dedicated sales counters with on-the-spot applications and instant rewards.
The roadshow will extend across major malls in Kuching and Kota Kinabalu throughout 2025, bringing the card closer to communities across East Malaysia.
