SIBU: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) has presented ‘touch point’ cheque to several longhouses at Assan Nunggang.
The longhouses are RH Saong, RH Nyundang, RH Dayong, RH Ranggau, RH Ladong and RH Jonathan Ebang.
SUPP member Kelvin Kong handed over the ‘touch point’ fund to representatives of the longhouses recently.
“This touch point fund is important for the rural longhouses to carry out certain minor repair works such as jetty, walkway, lighting, fans, bridges, ceiling, roofing, car parking, kitchen equipment, so forth,” he said.
The presentation of the ‘touch point’ fund was witnessed by Councillor Joseph Chieng, Tr Edward Chendang and SUPP Dudong branch secretary Kong Sing Ping.
