KUCHING: AirBorneo officially launched its website and call centre on Wednesday, opening ticket sales in preparation for its takeover of MASwings at the end of December.
The airline assured travellers that all existing MASwings bookings remain valid, with no changes to flight schedules.
“Those holding tickets for travel on or after January 14, 2026, will receive individual instructions on reissuance under the AirBorneo brand,” it said in a statement on Wednesday.
Travellers booking flights up to January 13, 2026 can continue to use the MASwings website at www.maswings.com.my.
For travel on or after January 14, 2026, tickets must be purchased through AirBorneo’s website (www.airborneo.com) or via its call centre at 1-300-22-1388 (toll-free for local callers) and +6082-537 555 (international callers).
The launch aims to ensure a smooth transition for MASwings customers and improve accessibility for travellers across Sarawak and beyond.
Passengers are encouraged to visit www.airborneo.com for more information, including frequently asked questions, or contact the customer service team via the call centre.
For the record, AirBorneo was established following the Sarawak Government’s signing of a sale and purchase agreement with Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) on February 12 earlier this year, formalising its acquisition of MASwings Sdn Bhd.
