KUCHING: Almost 2,000 jobs are up for grabs at the Career Carnival Kuching @ 2.0 on November 3 at Eastern Mall, Siburan. Organised by the Sarawak Labour Department, the event will be held from 8am to 5pm.
A press release from the department yesterday said the carnival aimed to offer employment opportunities in participating companies to locals especially those in need of employment. A total of 20 companies from various industries will offer walk-in interviews.
Jobseekers are advised to bring along their academic qualification documents, MyKad, resume, and other relevant certificates.
A registration counter will also be set up to enable visitors to file job applications online through JobsMalaysia. Visitors can also seek counselling at a service counter, which will offer information such as labour-related regulations and entertain complaints.
