MIRI: Don’t ever leave your car unlocked even when you are changing one of your tyres.
A 62-year-old woman learned this valuable lesson after losing a bag she placed on the front passenger seat while she and her husband were replacing a tyre in front a supermarket here on Sunday evening.
The unlucky woman only found out that the bag containing her identity card (IC), driving licence, bank cards, keys, 100 Singapore dollar notes, 150 Brunei dollar notes, RM1600 cash, jewellery and branded purse were missing when she got into the car.
The total amount of items lost was estimated at RM5,800.
The woman immediately lodged a police report after that.
