KUCHING: AmanahRaya has solidified its position as the nation’s premier trust institution, having successfully managed estates and trusts worth over RM21 billion since its establishment in 1921.

Group Managing Director of Amanah Raya Berhad, Ahmad Feizal Sulaiman Khan, said during this period, more than 1.2 million wills have been registered, while over 350,000 estate cases and 67,000 trust files have been resolved in an orderly and trustworthy manner.

“At the state level, the Kuching branch of AmanahRaya, which was established in 2015, has also recorded an impressive achievement by managing over 15,000 estate and trust files, involving a total value of around RM300 million as of 31 May this year,” he said during the Customer Open Day held here Wednesday (July 2).

The event was officiated by Irwan Zulkarnain Muhammad Hasbie, Political Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister.

Ahmad Feizal added that, backed by extensive experience and proven expertise, AmanahRaya continues to consistently handle estate cases smoothly, systematically and with integrity.

In addition, AmanahRaya is actively implementing various improvement initiatives to enhance service quality for its customers, he noted.

“Among the steps being taken include upgrading office facilities, expanding digital communication channels, and empowering existing human resources.

“All these efforts aim to ensure that customers are more comfortable accessing our services and to boost service delivery efficiency over time,” he said.

He said the open day reflects the importance of AmanahRaya’s relationship with its customers in maintaining excellence in service quality.

He added that the programme not only serves as a platform to disseminate information about the services offered, but also as a valuable opportunity to hear feedback and suggestions from the local community to improve existing services.

Also present were State Attorney General Datuk Seri Saferi Ali and State Legal Adviser Datuk Seri JC Fong.
