KUCHING: A man in his 40s ran amok in his house at Petra Jaya near here at about 2 am yesterday.
The man had threatened to kill his family members.
Fearing for the safety, his family members immediately contacted the police for help and four policemen in a patrol car rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival the policemen managed to subdue the man before he was taken to Sarawak General Hospital in an ambulance.
Police said the man was already calm when he arrived at the hospital.
They suspected that the man may have taken drugs.
The man is being warded in the hospital while the case is under investigation.
