KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim safely arrived at Kuching International Airport (KIA) today for an official one-day working visit to Kuching.
Anwar’s arrival at 10.00 am was welcome by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and Abang Johari’s deputies, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian.
Upon arrival, Anwar and his delegation proceeded directly to Wisma Bapa Malaysia to chair the Special Meeting on Sarawak Development.
Following the meeting, Anwar and Abang Johari will attend the MADANI Aidilfitri Celebration 2025 at the Stadium Perpaduan Kuching.
He is also expected to attend the Hari Raya Open House and Gathering hosted by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry (KPWKM) at Wisma SABATI at 2.00 pm.
Anwar and his delegation are scheduled to depart and return to Kuala Lumpur at 3.15 pm today.
