KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be a leader with a democratic style of leadership.

Political observer Dr Ahi Sarok said Anwar is well known as a charismatic leader for his fiery speeches.

“And he has the experiences of both in the government and opposition. In my view, his style of leadership will most likely be leaning towards the democratic style.

“He will be a leader who is willing to listen to various alternative views on how to solve various issues at hand and choose the best available solution,” he said when contacted by New Sarawak Tribune on Friday (Nov 25).

While the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah proposed a unity government, he said Anwar will likely form a government that comprises ministers appointed from several political parties.

“These will be from Pakatan Harapan (PH), Barisan Nasional (BN), Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), Warisan and other less significant parties such as MUDA and Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM),” he said.
