SRI AMAN: Personnel from the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Sri Aman here yesterday afternoon rushed to Kampung Muhibbah, Sri Aman to help a man who was having a serious problem. Its officer Captain (PA) Siti Huzaimah Ibrahim said the man, known as Kamaralzaman, 47, was having a breathing problem at his home around 1.59pm before contacting the APM here.
“Our side received a call from complainant by the name of Rokayah who told us that the victim was having a serious breathing problem and needed our immediate assistance.
“As such we immediately send Lance Corporal (PA) Sprin Joe, Private (PA) Ibrahim and Private (PA) Joseph Badar to the victim’s home to give immediate treatment and help,” said Siti. The three personnel from APM Sri Aman took about 13 minutes to treat the victim before taking him to the emergency unit of Sri Aman Hospital here using our department’s ambulance to receive further treatment.
“We were also told that the victim is suffering from kidney ailment (undergoing dialysis),” said Siti adding that their personnel returned to their operation office at 2.30pm after sending the victim to the Sri Aman Hospital for treatment. She advised the public in this area to straight away inform the Sri Aman District APM at emergency line 083-320973 pertaining to any emergency cases at their areas in the future.
