MIRI: A cat stuck in a four-metre tall tree for several hours was rescued by Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) yesterday.

According to Miri APM officer, Captain Mohd Hazle Shah Abdul Hamid said they were informed on the incident by a member of the public at 8.30am and dispatched three personnel to the scene.

“They (APM personnel) used a ladder to reach the cat. It was returned to its owner shortly after that,” he said here yesterday.

He added that the operation ended at 8.54am.
