SIBU: A four-foot long cobra was found at Rumah Sangan in SK Ulu Sungai Salim.
The Civil Defence Force (APM) received a distress call at 3.32pm on Friday (June 9).
A team of five APM members quickly responded to the call and successfully captured the cobra, which is estimated to weigh around 500g.
The reptile was discovered hiding beneath a staircase in the house.
After being captured, the snake was safely released back into its natural habitat, away from residential areas.
