KUCHING: The highly anticipated Apoclaypse Auto Show is set to make its return this Sunday (July 20) from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm at the basement carpark of CityOne Megamall.
Now in its third edition, the annual event organised by the Apoclaypse Car Club of Kuching promises a day filled with automotive flair, showcasing a wide variety of uniquely modified vehicles from across the region with admission being free and open to the public.
Apoclaypse Car Club in its statement said vehicle loading for participants will begin the night before, on July 19, from 10:00 pm to midnight.
“All exhibitors have been urged to arrive on time and adhere to instructions given by the event crew to ensure smooth preparations.
“Aside from the impressive car displays, visitors can look forward to a lucky draw featuring attractive prizes, including car accessories and audio systems. Tickets will be available for purchase at the organiser’s booth for RM10 each,” it said.
Adding to the excitement, the club added that limited-edition event stickers will be sold at RM5 apiece.
“In the spirit of giving back, 30 per cent of all proceeds from the lucky draw and sticker sales will be donated to charity.
“To promote transparency, the car club has committed to posting photos and updates of the donation on its official Facebook page, ensuring the public that funds are properly channelled to charitable use,” it added.
Members of the public are encouraged to drop by and experience the vibrant and growing car modification culture in Kuching.
