KUCHING: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii and his Repok Service Centre were once again on a welfare mission today.
On behalf of the assemblyman, the service centre handed out school bags to schools within his constituency for distribution to needy students.
As Huang was unable to be personally present due to other pressing matters that must be attended to, he was represented by a local community leady, Penghulu Huang Tiong Kang
The schools that received the donations were SJK Sze Lu (62 bags), SK Sg Paoh (202), SJK Chung Hien (89), SK Balong (32), SJK Kiew Mang (62), SJK St Martin (102), SJK Tiong Ho (81), SJK Sing Ming (54), SK Penghulu Andin (5), SJK Su Dok (60), SJK Nam Kiew (55), SK Rentap (72), and SJK Bulat (93).
The last beneficiary of Tiong Sri’s benevolence was a bedridden man in Jakar, 66-year-old Su Yew Hing who was givenh a special bed.
