KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi received a courtesy visit from the delegation of the Advocates Association of Sarawak today (Feb 26).
The visit aimed to introduce the newly appointed Central Committee leadership for the 2024-2026 term and discuss current legal developments.
Wan Junaidi expressed his appreciation for the visit and highlighted the vital role of the legal profession in upholding the rule of law.
Furthermore, he hopes the association will continue to serve as the primary platform for championing justice and enhancing the role of legal practitioners.
The delegation was led by Gurvir Singh Sandhu, the association’s president.
