KUCHING: The internationally renowned 137th Guangzhou China Spring Trade Fair 2025 will be held in three sessions at the Pazhou Exhibition Hall on April 15-19, April 23-27, and May 1-5.

As one of the world’s largest international trade events, featuring the most comprehensive product categories and the widest range of exhibitors and buyers, the trade fair has been an important platform for promoting global economic and trade growth since its inception in 1957. It is widely recognised as ‘China’s No 1 Exhibition’.

The Kuching China Trades Importers & Exporters Association has begun preparations for the trade fair, inviting Chinese business organisations and interested participants to attend the event.

The trade delegation for this fair will be led by Tan Hock Beng, with deputy leader Wee Yong Kwang and president Datuk Yii Ming Tang serving as the team advisor.

“The trade fair consists of three major exhibition phases. The first phase, from April 15-19, will feature large-scale machinery and equipment, small machinery, bicycles, motorcycles, auto parts, chemical products, hardware tools, household appliances, consumer electronics, building and decoration materials, and more,” said a press statement by the Kuching China Trades Importers & Exporters Association today (Feb 14).

The second phase, from April 23-27, will showcase kitchen utensils, daily ceramics, home decorations, household items, glasses and clocks, toys, gifts, and related products.

“Meanwhile, the third phase, from May 1-5, will focus on clothing and accessories, home textiles, medical equipment, agricultural products, sporting goods, office stationery, footwear, bags, and more,” the statement added.

Since its establishment in 1976, the Kuching China Trades Importers & Exporters Association has been committed to promoting trade between Sarawak and China. It continues to organise business delegations to participate in the trade fair, helping local enterprises expand into the international market.

“This year, our association sincerely invites members and business professionals to join the delegation and seize global trade opportunities together,” it said.
