KUCHING: The Sarawak Umrah and Islamic Tourism Expo Festival 2025 (SUITEX 2025) next month will offer a variety of deals, including Umrah packages worth approximately RM100,000, to lucky visitors.
Sarawak Umrah and Hajj Association (SUHA) chairman Ruzaiman Ghazalee said the attractive offers include free umrah packages, umrah vouchers and Zamzam water.
“There are 11 Umrah vouchers, each valued at either RM1,000 or RM2,000, sponsored by Safar Al Ghazali Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, Wan Zakaria Travel and Tours, Ik Chin Travel Service (Kuching) Sdn Bhd, and Demak Travel Sdn Bhd.
“Moreover, there will also be 10 bottles of five-litre Zamzam water provided free of charge, sponsored by Umtaesar Travel Tours Sdn Bhd.
“And six free Umrah packages are sponsored by Az Safir Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, Demak Travel Sdn Bhd, Asheeq Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, Al Amani Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, and Zunaz Travel Sdn Bhd,” he said here Wednesday (Jan 22).
In addition, he said the event will feature activities such as a Colouring Competition, the Little Hajj Programme, the launch of SUHA’s Umrah and Pilgrimage Guidebook, and more.
An estimated 5,000 visitors are expected at SUITEX 2025, which will feature 50 booths.
It will be held at Mydin Petra Jaya from Feb 21 to 23, he said, adding that SUITEX 2025 is not an ordinary expo as it is an initiative by SUHA aimed at raising awareness and building public confidence.
“We believe this programme will bring significant benefits to the Sarawakian Muslim community and to our Islamic tourism industry with the hope of SUITEX 2025 will serve as an excellent platform and become a regular feature in Sarawak’s tourism calendar,” he said.
