
Taib is in the clear: MACC chief
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has cleared the Sarawak Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud of the corruption and abuse of power allegations against him. It said that the commission cannot take action against Taib although 15 investigations have been opened since 2015 or 2016.
