MUKAH: Alexson Aiho and Christina Bera emerged champions of the Petanak Pickleball Team 2026 Invitational Mixed Doubles Tournament.
The pair sealed the title with a convincing 21-12 victory over Januarius and Bernadette in the final.
Meanwhile, Mukhriz and Ijrina, along with Roslan and Saliza, shared third place after both pairs were eliminated at the semi-final stage.
Prizes were presented by Kampung Petanak Hilir headman, Jefridin Saime, accompanied by organising chairman Roslan Hamdan.
Winners received cash prizes, medals and food vouchers sponsored by Tone Cafe Mukah.
Roslan said the maiden edition of the tournament in Mukah was held at Petanak Community Hall and received encouraging support from the local community.
“The tournament attracted 44 players, with doubles pairings determined through a random draw,” he said.
He added that the event not only promoted a healthy lifestyle but also strengthened sportsmanship and unity within the local community.
