BABYMONSTER has released the music video for “Supa Dupa Luv”, a b-side track from the group’s second mini album, We Go Up. The video was unveiled on Friday and has drawn attention from fans for both its concept and its ending.
According to entertainment portal Allkpop, the music video features bright visuals, colourful sets and coordinated choreography that reflect the song’s upbeat and youthful tone. The members are shown performing in various playful settings, highlighting their group chemistry as well as individual performances. The track focuses on themes of affection, excitement and youthful confidence, supported by a lively melody.
Following the release, fans shared positive reactions online, noting the group’s polished performance and the lighter concept compared with some of their earlier releases. The video has also been seen as another step in strengthening BABYMONSTER’s presence in the global K-pop market.
Interest grew further due to the final scene of the music video, in which a young girl appears to be watching the group through a window. Some fans believe this scene may hint at the possible return of member Rami, Allkpop added.
In May, YG Entertainment announced that Rami would take a temporary break from activities due to health concerns. She had previously been diagnosed with pneumothorax, also known as a collapsed lung, before her debut. Despite continued treatment and medical supervision, her condition was reported to have worsened earlier this year.
As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding Rami’s return.
