KAPIT: A total allocation of RM575,000 has been disbursed for community development initiatives in Baleh.
The allocation was channelled through two cheque presentation ceremonies aimed at implementing various grassroots development projects in the area.
According to UKAS report, at Rumah Selukai, Nanga Oyan, RM345,000 was distributed for 24 projects, including road improvements, support for Parent-Teacher Associations (PIBG), and community activity grants.
The contributions were presented by the Digital Deputy Minister and Hulu Rajang MP Datuk Wilson Ugak Kumbong, on Monday (March 16).
Meanwhile, in a separate event at Rumah Lingai, Nanga Sebala, Sungai Mujong, the Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) of Nanga Sebala received RM200,000 for road construction, while the Women’s Bureau received RM30,000 for the development of a community hall.
The assistance benefits various organisations, including JKKK, Women’s Bureaus, and PIBGs, to strengthen local infrastructure and community development.
