KUCHING: People have been urged to come out and support non-governmental organisation Bantu Sarawak which is planning to hold Sarawak AeroBig Day events across the state.
Billed as the largest charity aerobics event in Sarawak, a special registration promotion was held during the AeroBig Leisure Day at MyDin Petra Jaya today.
‘Through this event, we drive various initiatives under Bantu Sarawak, including the Bantu Mission and Noah’s Ark Project, which focus on undocumented children, the Penan community, low-income families, and marginalised groups,” said its founder Jeffrey Ngui.
“This is how we combine health, unity, and humanity in one cause, ” he said, pointing out that the Sarawak AeroBig Day is more than just a fitness event in that it is a community platform for realising humanitarian and welfare missions.
The event will held in Miri on Sept 28; Bintulu on Oct 5; Sibu on Oct 12; and Kuching on Oct 19, in conjunction with National Sports Day.
“We invite all the people of Sarawak to register and join us in this year’s event,” said Ngui.
“Your participation is not just about exercising, but also contributing to the hopes and future of the communities in Sarawak that we fight for together,”he added.
