MIRI: Baram FC is preparing for its highly anticipated debut in the Bintulu League this May, marking a major milestone in the club’s grassroots development journey.

Club president and team manager, Spanski Steven, said the club remains committed to nurturing local talent by ensuring players gain valuable match experience through active competition.
“Our priority at Baram FC is to develop talent from the ground up.
“We’re keen to enter any available competition to give our players essential match exposure,” he said.
As the only club representing Baram in the league, the team is eager to showcase its potential and grow the sport in the region.
“We’re gearing up for our debut in the Bintulu League, which kicks off in May 2025.
“As newcomers – and the sole club representing Baram – we’re excited to step onto this new stave,” he told Sarawak Tribune when contacted on Saturday.

With only a few weeks left before kickoff, training is going smoothly.
Spanski said the players are committed and have quickly adjusted to the coach’s plans and the team’s playing philosophy.
“Training has gone exceedingly well.
“It’s remarkable how quickly the squad has bonded and adapted to the coach’s instructions as well as our club’s style of play,” he added.
Baram FC is expected to bring a fresh presence to the competition while laying a solid foundation for long-term growth in the local football scene.
