KUCHING: Baram FC, together with Playmaker Academy, recently visited SMK Long Lama in an outreach that blended sports, community spirit, and youth empowerment.

In a statement issued by the club on Friday (Apr 25), it noted that the collaboration is part of its mission to engage youth and enhance community sports development.

Guided by Baram FC’s dedicated development team, the visit aimed to inspire students with football’s transformative power while providing essential training equipment to bolster grassroots sports.

The items presented were footballs, training gear, and club merchandise, symbolizing the unity and fervour for football shared by all involved.

“We believe in building more than just athletes – we’re here to shape character, discipline, and community spirit,” Playmaker Academy founder and former Sarawak player Benedict Martin said during the presentation.

Baram FC is committed to uplifting rural communities and nurturing young talent through football.

“This event showcases the club’s devotion to giving back and igniting ambition among the next generation,” it said.
