SIBU: Works on the new basketball court project at Taman Indah has reached 47 per cent completion.
According to Pusat Khidmat N54 Pelawan in their Facebook post yesterday (June 13), Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Datuk Michael Tiang Ming Tee visited the project recently.
“He was accompanied by the community leaders and the said project is now at 47 per cent completion,” it said.
The project, which includes basketball court and drainage upgrading work, commenced in February this year and is expected to be completed in eight months.
The total cost of the project is RM1 million and funded under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) grant under Pelawan constituency.
The implementation agency for the project is Sibu Municipal Council (SMC).
