KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian is inviting the Batu Kawa community to the Batu Kawa Chinese New Year 2025 gathering on Feb 16.
The event will be held at the Old Ang Cheng Ho Quarry (ACHQ) Floating Multipurpose Hall, Batu Kawa from 12 pm to 2 pm.
It is open to all and aims to foster unity and festive cheer as Sarawakians welcome the Year of the Snake.
Dr Sim, who is also the Batu Kawa assemblyman, expressed his excitement about celebrating the occasion with residents.
“All are welcome,” he said in his official Facebook posting recently.
