BAU: Police have arrested two men involved in drug abuse activities.
District police chief P/Supt Mohd Haide A Rahman said the arrest was made at 11.30am on Sunday (Mar 1) by a team from the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID).
“The suspects, aged 26 and 27, were arrested at the NCID office for suspected involvement in drug abuse activities.
“Their urine test results came back positive for drugs, and the case is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he said in a statement.
Mohd Haide reminded the public that any involvement in drug abuse activities will be dealt with according to the law.
He urged the public to remain vigilant and to report any criminal activities to the NCID Bukit Aman hotline (012-2087222) or the NCID Sarawak Contingent hotline (017-5929211).
