KUCHING: As the holy month of Ramadan begins, the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here is hosting “Juh Sungkei di BCCK”, offering a variety of delicious dishes for diners.

The event runs from March 2 to 28, with reservations open for those who wish to break their fast at BCCK.

Diners can enjoy a wide selection of dishes, including Lebanese chicken shawarma, roti john, laksa, mandy rice, beef curry, whole grilled lamb, roasted duck, and seafood specialties. A variety of desserts is also available, such as cakes, traditional kuih-muih, and ais kacang.

According to a BCCK representative, tickets are selling out quickly on weekends, so early booking is advised. Weekday reservations are still available but filling up fast.

“The layout of stalls has been adjusted, and the seating arrangements are now more comfortable for our guests, allowing for a smoother crowd flow and an enhanced dining experience.

“Subtle decorations have also been added to the hall, creating a more relaxed and inviting ambiance.

“Additionally, this remains one of the most affordable venues in Kuching, making it accessible for people to book and gather to break their fast at the end of the day.

“Beyond enjoying the food, guests can also take advantage of our facilities, including capturing memorable moments with this year’s special ‘Dining in Peace and Floral’ theme.”

Prices start from RM50 onwards, and reservations can be made at https://www.bcck.org.my/promotions/. The event runs from 6 pm to 10 pm.
