KUCHING: The Betong Division Football Association (BDFA) will hold its final player selection session this Saturday at the Betong Sports Complex, to determine the 26-man squad that will represent the division in the upcoming 2025 Sarawak Premier League.
According to BDFA President, Abang Suhordie Abang Zaini, the session is scheduled to run from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and remains open to all aspiring footballers in the Betong area.
“Saturday marks the final day for selection at the Betong Sports Complex. We continue to welcome players from the local community to attend,” Abang Suhordie told Arena Suara Sarawak.
The association previously held selection trials on 2 and 3 August at the same venue, that successfully identified promising talents across various age groups.
The initiative is part of BDFA’s wider efforts to build a competitive side under the guidance of head coach, Abdul Rahman Sapaiee.
The 2025 Sarawak Premier League is set to kick off in late September.
