BETONG: The Betong Division Football League 2026 will kick off on June 6, featuring eight teams vying for the championship title.
Betong Division Football Association (BDFA) honorary secretary Saiful Hanizam Suhaini confirmed that the participating teams are Makarion FC, Hermanos FC, Spaoh FC, SVU x P201, Crossover FC, KSRB, Landas and Ladang Bijat FC.
“The eight teams competing this time represent various strong clubs from around Betong and surrounding areas,” Saiful told Sarawak Tribune.
He said the Betong Sports Complex will serve as the official venue throughout the competition.
He acknowledged that this season is expected to be highly competitive, with teams fielding a mix of experienced players and emerging talent.
“The participating teams are strengthened by many experienced players, and there is also the involvement of three import players,” he added.
Special prizes await the top three teams in this year’s campaign.
“The champion team will receive RM5,000 in cash, along with a trophy and medals.
“The runner-up will receive RM3,000, plus a trophy and medals,” Saiful explained.
The two losing semi-finalists will each receive RM1,000 in cash and medals as joint third-place winners.
