KUCHING: The Triennial General Meeting of the Betong Division Football Association (BDFA) for 2026-2028 is set to take place on Saturday (Feb 14).
BDFA Honorary Secretary, Saiful Hanizam Suhaini, said the meeting will elect a new leadership team to guide the association over the next three years.
“We will hold the meeting tomorrow and, at the same time, select the new BDFA executive committee for the 2026-2028 term,” Saiful said.
He added that the meeting will be held in Betong town and expressed confidence that it will proceed in a harmonious atmosphere involving the current executive committee.
Saiful also noted that a variety of matters will be discussed, including the direction and programmes the BDFA plans to implement during the term.
“Once the new executive committee is confirmed, several agendas will be addressed, including the organisation of the Betong League, tournaments, courses, and more,” he said.
He pointed out that the association remains active throughout the year, with ongoing programmes and initiatives.
